Program Overview
Join NBA veteran Jumaine Jones for Beyond the Hardwood Academy: Developing the Future Leaders of Basketball, an elite basketball leadership and player development experience designed to help young athletes elevate every aspect of their game while developing into complete student-athletes and future leaders, both on and off the court.
Participants will receive hands-on instruction in ball handling, shooting fundamentals, defensive techniques, teamwork, leadership, basketball IQ, communication, and overall player development. Through high-energy drills, competitive gameplay, personalized coaching, and mentorship from a former NBA professional, participants will build confidence, strengthen their skills, and develop the discipline, character, leadership, and work ethic required to succeed in basketball and in life.

Host Responsibilities
Adult Chaperones
The Host Organization is responsible for providing adult chaperones to serve as assistant coaches. Adult chaperones will help supervise the youth participants throughout the event.*
Headcount & Sizing
The Host Organization is responsible for providing an official headcount, along with each participant's clothing size. This information must be submitted one week prior to the event.
Suitable Location
The Host Organization is responsible for providing a suitable basketball facility for the Beyond the Hardwood Academy for the entire duration of the event.
Camp Format
Jumaine Jones is available to conduct Beyond the Hardwood Academy as either a two-day or three-day basketball leadership camp, featuring multiple instructional sessions designed to maximize participation, player development, leadership growth, and scheduling flexibility.

These age groups are recommended and may be modified to accommodate your organization's needs, participant demographics, and registration numbers.
